Tate Modern's educational pilot uses mobile and web technology to enhance the gallery experience.

Students (KS 4-5) on school group visits can use an interactive PDA to find out more about artworks displayed in the gallery. The PDA also allows them to record audio clips, make drawings and texts which they can save to a personal web space to use after their visit.

The aim is to develop skills in looking at, thinking about and responding to the artworks on display.
